Media Invite
With girls who go goo goo ga ga over My Little Pony, you bet we couldn’t miss their roadshow at Cineleisure last weekend. It was a treat for the girls when the event was open for media only for two hours before members of public come gushing in. With such an eye-catching truck, I bet many little girls would want to be a part of it.
Plus, how does one resist cute mascots like these trotting around? Big round eyes and a friendly smile– Everyone was rushing to take photos with them.
Prior to the event, we received an invitation card along with a special key that would unlock a selected locket at the event. Depending on the locket chosen, one could walk away with really huge My Little Pony toys, but we could only look on with envy because our prize was a really small one. Nevertheless, we weren’t really expecting anything when we went, so it was a nice surprise as well. It would be nice if everyone could bring home the huge sets though. haha!
There were ladies dressed up in My Little Pony characters as well, and this was Apple Jack (which the girls recognised and I didn’t, of course). The girls were so excited to meet them! =D
Inside the colorful truck were displays of My Little Pony toy sets, with a special feature on their new series of Rainbow Rocks – Luminous, colorful, bright and vibrant. They look like rock stars!
There was also a station where the kids could fiddle with Hasbro’s new product – Doh Vinci, where the kids could design an artwork using doh expressed from a gun.
But what probably thrilled the girls most was the makeover booth where the kids could get colorful hair extensions to transform them into My Little Pony characters. See how smug my girls looked after the makeover!
As the event progressed on, more and more characters appeared, much to the delight of the kids. It must be quite a treat for them to see their favorite cartoon characters in front of them!
We left the roadshow that day feeling all rainbow-ish and colorful, with big smiles on our faces. Thank you Hasbro for the invitation!
