September School Holidays Idea: Visit Changi Airport!

Media Invite

We have a very interesting phenomenon here in Singapore - Singaporeans flock to the airport frequently not to take a plane to jet off to somewhere else, but to enjoy the many facilities available there.

For the month of September, Changi Airport has a new exhibition on Switzerland (Yes, the usual spot at T3 Check-in Row 11). Hop on down to check interesting facts about Switzerland, and the kids can also have some fun at the HUGE bouncy slides*!

I love the various themed exhibitions that Changi Airport puts up from time to time - Not only can we learn new things about the different countries, there is usually something interesting for the kids to enjoy as well.

This can make any kid go 'Wow!' It might be the biggest bouncy slide I've seen.

It was interesting to see different products and special characteristics of Switzerland. This is definitely a country I look forward to visiting one day!

An interesting competition happening at the exhibition is this 'Cow Stacking Competition'. Have a go at stacking the cows, and if you are one of the top few, you get to compete during the Finals and have a chance to win a trip to 6D5N Switzerland for a family of four!

Everyone tried, but of course we didn't make it to the Finals. :P I dare say the kids were more thrilled to see the cows come thumping down!

Hubby tried and his record was 13 cows!

And yes, the girls went down those slides for countless times. It looked really fun - I'd have gone for a slide if there were not so many people around. =X

If you are looking for a place to bring your kids this September, especially during the school holidays, check out the 'Simply Switzerland' exhibition!

* Minimum spending at Changi Airport is required for kids to enter the slide area.
