Dining at Shangri-La Hotel’s The Waterfall Cafe is always an enjoyable affair.
The restaurant’s elegantly furnished with clever use of lightings to differentiate various spaces and create ambience. The staff are meticulous and always swift with their service, making you feel well taken of. For one of those times when you feel like pampering your family and yourself, consider having a nice and slow brunch here, and your mind and body will be rejuvenated and ready for a new week ahead.
A gastronomical experience awaits you. On the menu, there’s seafood, meats, salads, cold cuts, warm one-pot dishes and all kinds of desserts. To accompany your meal, you can have free flow of wines (different pricing if you would like to include premium wines as well), cocktails, mocktails and beverages. I don’t think I need to say much – The photos will tell you what’s available for the brunch. I hope it whets your appetite. :)
Apart from being pampered by good food, the best was of course to be able to spend time with these little angels in my life. It’s a good thing that they enjoy good food too, especially buffet lines. They would scamper between the buffet line, the dining table and the swimming pool just outside the restaurant. Love to see them having a good time. As always, it’s important to relax and rejuvenate before a brand new week starts again.
The Manager recommended nice wines to go along with the meal. I am not much of a wine person, but it’s always nice to match them with such good food.
The kids found flowers by the swimming pool and stuck into their hair. With such good lightings, it’ll be a pity not to take photos here!
Desserts end a perfect on a sweet note. You’ll be spoilt for choices at the buffet line – They have so many different selections to choose from! Or, try a bit of everything.
As the meal progressed on, there were servers who popped by to offer us specialty dishes. The fish especially, was so awesome and well-cooked! Love it.
I could not resist trying these lovely mocktails, even though I was so full after the meal. They were refreshing, sweet and a great perk-me-up at the end of a full meal.
Quietly playing near the centre of the restaurant was this friendly musician who made such soothing and lovely tunes that made the whole dining experience such a wonderfully relaxing one.
Thank you, Shangri-La Hotel for such an amazing Sunday Brunch with my family. The service was top-notch and meticulous as always, and the thumbs up for the food quality and presentation. We had such a good time. :)
