Restaurant In Bangkok: Audrey

If you are a fan of cafes and lovely restaurants, then Thong Lor district is the place to check out in Bangkok. I would love to have more time to explore that area and busk in the BKK cafe culture, but we were too hard-pressed for time. Nevertheless, we did manage to have a rather decent meal at Audrey. It looks pretty high-class, but the prices are reasonable. Plus, anything so pretty and eye-candy is worth paying for.

I thought the restaurant reminded me of Audrey Hepburn and turned out it might be inspired by her indeed. My brother’s girlfriend spotted a photo of her on one of the walls. It’s cosy sitting inside the restaurant and the service is top-notch! There were at at least 2 people standing near our table all the time and paying attention to our every need. Strangely, it didn’t feel uncomfortable being stared at while having our meals. I guess the Thais have a way of doing it gently so that you don’t feel invaded in any way. Quite on the contrary, I felt very well taken care of. They were extremely attentive.

The decor of the restaurant was clean-cut and simple with mostly white-washed walls.

Love how elegant the whole restaurant decor was. :)

There’s something about black and white striped canvases that make everything look sleek effortlessly.

A fairytale twist at the alfresco dining area. This area looks more like a Victorian tea garden. So pretty!

Even though the desserts couldn’t make the cut, the main dishes were definitely worth ordering and value-for-money. Plus, with an ambience like that, Audrey is a must-go for a nice dinner at Bangkok.
