The much-loved Dim Sum Dollies® is finally back!
The Dim Sum Dollies® have been delighting audiences since 2002, with their stunning and almost-exaggerated costumes and hear gears. This time round in ‘The History of Singapore: Part II’, expect the usual bold and wicked humor as the Dollies bring the audiences through the history of Singapore in a mischievous way!
The musical starts from the point when Singapore gained its independence in 1965, and goes on to talk about many facets of Singapore that every Singaporean will be able to identify with. From the Kallang Roar to using tissue packs to ‘choop’ seats at hawker centres, you can expect to have a really good time laughing at the very unique characteristics of Singapore (which you are likely guilty of yourself too!). At the end of the musical, you would feel warm and fuzzy inside because it is all the little things that have contributed to building the Singapore that we have today.
Selena Tan and Pam Oei will be joined by their newest Dolly, Denise Tan. Together, they will charm the audiences with their quick wits and humor. Check out some of the media reviews on the previous Dim Sum Dollies shows:
