I love year ends because there’s so much feasting, fun and celebration going on almost every weekend. Everyone’s in a fabulous mood because finally, there’s some time to rest and relax after a year of working hard. Last week, we had a Thanksgiving celebration for groups of friends in my church and I was in-charged of ordering dinner for that evening. I’ve heard a lot about this online site – Foodline - where I can find listings of many good caterers in Singapore, compare menus and pick the best one for our budget, so I decided to give it a try this time round.
I was a little worried about the cost initially because we are nearing Christmas and many caterers have already started to raise their prices. Thankfully, I was able to find many choices on Foodline and within a matter of 15 minutes, I’ve got dinner settled for a group of 70 people! The whole ordering process was straightforward and easy, and I also received email confirmations after my order had been placed, to assure me that the caterer had received and confirmed my order.
As you can see from Foodline’s homepage, the caterers are categorized so that you can easily zoom into suitable caterers for your event. You can also do a search based on budget, food items and number of pax, etc. The website is easy to navigate and would save you a lot of time and hassle having to find and research into different caterers. Foodline gathers all the caterers in one place and that makes it so convenient!
Check out our buffet spread from ICaterings Pte Ltd that evening! They were very punctual and set up everything neatly (The flower arrangement was also provided by the caterer!) so that my guests could have their dinner on time.
The portions provided were also generous and we had more than enough for everybody.
The guests were happy with the food! I personally liked every dish’s flavor and taste. :) Looks like I will go to Foodline for all my catering needs from now – It’s so easy and fast, and I can be assured of the quality of the food as well. Thumbs up! =)
