I reckon it’s going to be a very memorable trip this time round because of the many firsts:
My first time in Osaka
My first winter
My first overseas trip without husband or kids

Seriously, an overseas trip without the husband is stressful. He is always the one handling the money and map when we go overseas, so I do not need to think about directions or currency exchange rates, or whether we still have enough money to spend. My job is primarily pre-trip, where I plan the itinerary and source out the must-visit, must-do and must-eat. Once the trip starts, I pretty much just enjoy without having to use my brains too much. This time round, I look at the 10,000 yen bill in my purse and I get a headache just thinking about how much that is in Sing dollars. And do you realize how difficult it is for a direction idiot to NOT lose her way in a foreign land? I say, I need extra prayers, thankyouverymuch. BUT, I shall not confess the negative. Everything’s gonna be OK. Everything’s gonna be OK.

That said, my travel companion, thankfully, is good with directions (at least that’s what I hope think). And I look forward to having a super relaxing and no-agenda holiday with my dear friend. At the top of my must-dos are all the food, so I think I will return a fatter pig than now. And ya, a trip to the Osaka Castle is in order as well, don’t ya worry about it.

I cannot guarantee extremely good photographs because God knows if my camera will malfunction in temperatures of less than 10, but I pray it will not of course. There is still my trust Samsung S5 if nothing else works. If all goes well, I should be updating my journey with at least 500 photos per day (Just kidding).
In the meantime, work hard at your job and don’t slack while I gallivant in Osaka. Ciaos.
