When Jayne turned five about a month ago, we threw a fabulous party for her and her friends. One of the common comments we heard from our friends was, ‘The cheesecake is SO YUMMY! Where did you buy it from?’
I seriously didn’t think that a cheesecake would be such a big hit. And I was glad it was. It’s always nice to have guests commenting that the birthday cake is delicious! =D The cake’s from online cheesecake shop - Cat & The Fiddle!
Truth be told, I am not a fan of cheesecakes. But the Oreo Cheesecake from Cat & The Fiddle was light, not-too-sweet and very smooth when eaten. Many of the guests told me that it was one of the better cheesecakes they’ve tasted. The husband is a big fan of cheesecakes, and he endorses it. =D
And so, I chose the Classic Oreo Cheesecake because most kids I know like Oreo, and it even has a super classy name: The Modern Duke’s Pudding. Cool eh?
When I was asked to choose a cake from Cat & The Fiddle’s online catalog, I was surprised that there were many to choose from! Aren’t cheesecakes just cheesecakes?!
Apparently not. There are sweet ones, sour ones and sweet & sour ones. You can mix them with chocolate, or alcohol, or fruits (they also have durians yoohoo!). Depending on your taste, there is bound to be something you fancy. The best thing is – They are very affordable! Prices range from $19.90 to below $40.
If you simply cannot decide what to get, just grab the Fickle Feline. You get 10 slices of different flavors, making one round cake for you to do your royal tasting! Yes, as the name suggests – It’s best for fickle-minded people who cannot make up their minds! =P
If you like to add that special and unique touch to your cakes, Cat & The Fiddle also offers add-ons such as stencil and dust that create motifs on the cakes with icing sugar or chocolate powder.
