I simply cannot resist pretty and colorful things.
And you cannot blame me for that because I am a young lady (at heart) and a mother of two girls. It feels almost legit that my life should be filled with all things cute, pretty and lovely. That was exactly how I felt when Duchess Mercantiles (SG and MY), a distribution company of the finest premium baby goods in South East Asia, approached me and said they were going to send over some of their products for the kids. I went on to their retail segment on Applecrumby & Fish (www.applecrumbyandfish.com), and got hooked! I could not stop browsing because there were simply too many products I like!
Applecrumbly & Fish is an online shop based in Malaysia that has got a wide variety of products to meet every need of your kids and at every budget that you have. Over the next few months, I will be showcasing different products available on the online shop and share with you some of my personal favorite items. Not only are the products interesting and enticing to the kids, I am also very impressed with their quality. This is definitely the website I would recommend my friends to, if they need to shop for quality gifts or grab something for their own kids.
The kids were really excited when the products arrived at our doorstep. We had fun exploring everything, and I am already excitedly anticipating the next delivery! =P
FOR PLAY!
My kids LOVE painting, so this was definitely the first thing they wanted to work on. Such craft kits are great – Both my 8yo and 5yo enjoyed doing it together. And me? I enjoyed kicking back on the sofa with my coffee, watching them. =P
There are many different characters available on the online shop, so grab something your kids like. It would encourage them to save more too, if it’s something they liked and painted themselves!

This pretty lilac box with a handle at the top was very interesting because it opens up to be a fashion store, complete with little hangers, a doll and some clothes for her!
Every little girl would love this. The girls now keep their earrings and bracelets in the little drawers. It’s a storage box and a toy all in one! The doll is of really good quality – Soft, well-sewn and very cuddly!
FOR SKINCARE!
There is a whole range of skincare, oral care and bathing products suitable for the delicate skin of babies and kids on Applecrumby & Fish. I love the Putto products that were sent over to us – They smell good and are gentle on the skin. I definitely feel safe using them on my kids. Plus, who can resist such sleek and pretty packaging?
My kids get mosquito bites rather frequently, and these lotions not only helps to sooth their dry skin conditions, they also help to prevent itch.
Sunscreen is also one of the necessities in my household – Not for me, but for my kids. Especially after Joey fell and suffered a cut on her forehead previously, we have been applying sunscreen on her face everyday religiously because it helps in scar recovery. This sunscreen lotion from Putto comes with 30 PA++, and is 100% natural with patented NHEB-05 Herbal Extracts! Absolutely perfect with the weather we have here in Singapore.
My girls LOVE to apply creams and lotions on their faces and arms, so this is a daily ritual for them. Even I love the smell!
Besides the creams and lotions, my kids also love the foaming cleanser and shampoo from Butt Naked. They are really gentle cleansers that are not overly harsh on the skin but cleanses really well. The shampoo is made of organic tea extracts and free of all parabens, sulphates and harsh detergents, and can be used from head to toe actually because of its gentle nature. The kids have been using the foaming cleanser as a body wash, and I love it that it’s easily dispensed by pressing the nozzle, and can be applied on the body immediately without water. Definitely makes it easy for the kids to do it themselves. And of course, both smell heavenly. =D

Every lady loves a pretty bag, and it’s no exception for the little ladies in my house. You should see how their eyes lit up when these colorful bags got delivered. They are seriously too cute!
