It is so funny. Blogging first started off as a small wish of mine to document & record everything about my baby and my own thoughts & experiences in life. Slowly, I realised that through blogging, friends and strangers know more about me and I too know more about them.
Recently, I have been making friends through blogging. People who don't know me read Joey's blog, and I have been constantly reading other people's blogs as well, as long as they are interesting.
Especially for some church friends, I got to know them first through blogging, then met them in church. People like lynette, yuling... So interesting!
Last weekend I was in church and I saw this baby who looked really familiar but I couldn't recall whose baby she was. Then it suddenly dawned upon me that she's Beatrice! One of the baby blogs I read, and I got to the blog because it was on someone else's friend's blog. Haha! It was funny seeing her face to face, cos I never expected that I could recognise her just like that! hehehe..
Today Isaiah and I went to meet someone we got to know from blogging as well. She's also one of the mothers inside this yahoo mothers network we set up for some mothers in CHC. I got to know her from this network and she told us about her blog address, and that's how we got connected. Joanna's her name.
Joanna has some books to give away and because Isaiah was interested in some of them, we decided to meet her below her block to pick up the books. We just stood there & chit chatted. Chatted about kids, church and books. Haha... really an interesting experience. Nice meeting you, Joanna!
So you see, blogging allows us to make more friends too! =)
