I Am Not Kidding…

Joey really can walk le.

My cellgroup members can vouch for me! In a span of 24 hours, Joey progressed from just 1 step to a distance of ermm... perhaps 1 metre distance?

This is so exciting, can??!!

I don't know why, this excites me more than her calling me Mama. Maybe because I can never say for sure whether she is calling me or just saying she wants to eat something, so it's hard to get excited over something so airy fairy. But this is different! She really is walking now!!!

But poor Joey, she has been forced to practise her walking the whole day today. In the nursery, the auntie formed a triangle formation & made her walk from person to person in a triangular order. Then just down during my CG prayer meeting, I made her walk in and out of the room and into the kitchen, and back,, hahaha.... Not because we are slave drivers, you know? It's just because she really looks so cute & funny when she walks. She is not steady yet, so she kind of wobbles. And she walks so fast that she just keeps walking because of the momentum. She'll walk like 7 or 8 steps then fall flat on her bum or knees. Ouch! But she she keeps laughing at herself. haahaha...

She was so exhausted at the end of the day that she fell asleep in Isaiah's arms during supper!! I don't even recall her ever doing something like that before!!

I don't have to repeat myself how LOOOOONNNNGGG I've waited for this day, right??!

Wait till I record a decent video of her walking and I will post it up!
