Off To See Grand Mama

Brought Joey home to see my mum, cos I know she will cheer her up. Some of you already know and have been praying for my mum, cos she just had an accident last week. 2 of her fingers went into the meat grinder, and got cut. One of the fingers got cut real bad till her bones were crushed, and the cut was 3/4 deep into the finger.

My mum is very very brave though. Still can tell me she saw that her finger was like 3/4 broken and hanging by its only little flesh left. She moved her finger back to its original position and wrapped some cloth away it and took a taxi to the hospital all by herself. That happened on Sunday, and I was waiting to meet Pastor Kong with the rest of the staff. I really panicked and rushed to the hospital to see her right after the meeting. She was hospitalised for one night and the surgery to sew back her finger took place that very night. Thank God everything went well, but my mum kept saying it's very painful and she had to rely on painkillers everyday. Hope she'll wean off the painkillers soon.

Anyway, Joey always brightens up her mood, so here's her precious granddaughter. :)

Can you see the 2 heavily wrapped up fingers?? My mum is so gungho. She keeps insisting on carrying Joey and she doesn't worry a single bit that Joey may just swing her hand & hit her 2 fingers! I was jittery the whole time. I can't imagine if she go hold my mum's fingers & pull hard on it! AHhhhh...
