A Time To Rest

I apologise for the lack of posts & photos recently. Attributed to 3 reasons:

1) I was very busy with Emerge, both pre and during.

2) I forgot to take out my camera during the Emerge Conference itself, even though it was in my bag all throughout the 4 days.

3) Joey moves so much that it's almost impossible to catch a decent photo of her not blur.

So I thought of making it up today since it's my rest day. Just some random photos of her walking around in the house, doing stuffs by herself!

Emerge may be over, but the spirit ain't over! Joey loves the bright pink wristband! So do I! Heee...

Now that she can walk, 2 things have happened. First, she doesn't want anyone to hold her hand when she walks. She will pull your hand real hard to shake it off. Sigh. 2nd, after walking for like 10 steps, she wants to be carried! Aiyoh, after trying for so long and she can finally walk,she now wants to be carried?!! She will grab and hug my legs so tight that I will have no choice but to carry her. Like a koala bear hugging a tree trunk!

Walking around the house is now her favorite pastime. I don't mind, cos she will entertain herself walking around the whole day, and I am entertained just by watching her. Haha! Only thing is I got to childproof my house now, and got to warn her not to touch certain things in the house.

She loves my laptop and it doesn't help that it's always on the low table in the living room. Must keep warning her NOT to touch it, by reminding her that the cane is hanging on the opposite wall. Still, she enjoys testing my patience, and seeing if I meant what I say. She would go near it, turn to look at me, walk closer, look at me, touch it once, look at me... Kids nowadays!!

The determined face that seems to say, "HUH? Cannot touch? I purposely want to touch."

She also has a fettish for wrapping her cloth around things and then chew on them. Weird habit she has.

Now when she is tired, she knows she needs to lie down & rest.. hahaha...

To those who do not yet know, my boss has kindly given us staff one week's off to rest & recuperate after Emerge! wahahahaha... Now planning how to use my precious off days!
