The Japanese Experience

Many people have commented that Joey looks like a Japanese or Korean. Even I think so myself. Cos of her small single-lidded eyes, she really does look like a Japanese. And so, that day, when Frederick brought Isaiah and us to the Japanese Club for dinner, I thought Joey really fitted well into that place! Haha...

Don't you think she looks very cute in this pic? Her hair looks curly!!

Check out our dinner! You've read about it in Isaiah's blog, so here are the photos!!!

The restaurant - Donguri

There are Japanese-style dining rooms. I love it!

That's Isaiah & Frederick. :)

The Menu

Here comes the FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Delicious starter salad with a unique salty sauce

Isaiah's sashimi don. He lurrrrvvveesss it.

For the first time in my life, I tried a piece of raw sashimi. It is tasteless, but towards the end, I could detect some raw fishy taste. I don't think I will develop a liking for it, but I am quite sure I've tasted almost the best of its kind. There is a really fresh feel to the taste, which I am sure I cannot find at Sakae Sushi, which is budget food. Still, 100 points for the presentation. So pretty.

My tempura don!

It tasted very fresh and didn't feel oily at all.

We also ordered grilled chicken, which were just fabulous..

Happy Kless..

Of course I was happy. I had half a meal in peace, as Joey slept on the futon behind me. keke....

After a hearty meal, we took a tour of the rest of the club. If you try to convince yourself that you are in Japan, you might just believe it. Everywhere we went, there were Japanese artefacts, paintings and culture.

Kimono...

Names of the chairpersons of different committees..

Every signage in that place has a Japanese translation...

And we caught a taekwondo class in session!!!

Joey enjoyed herself walking around the place. :)
