Porridge: No No?

Joey is going through this transition period where she doesn't want to eat her porridge. For 3 straight days, she only took 3 or 4 mouthfuls and she doesn't want to eat anymore. I tasted the porridge myself and they are all very sweet and tasty cos we put in quite alot of ingredients into her porridge. Our guess is that she probably prefers harder food as compared to porridge, or simply because she is just sick of porridge, which she has been eating everyday without fail for about 1 year.

It's not that her interest for food has dropped. In fact, whatever we eat, she wants a share of it. Especially if it's rice or biscuits. So, we are thinking of stopping her porridge for a few days, then resume again. Maybe her appetite for porridge will pick up.

I must add in new varieties for her food though. Maybe I will cook some soft rice and a potato & carrots soup, and maybe steam an egg for her to eat. On other days, I can boil some marcaroni soup for her. Hopefully, the variety will perk up her appetite and she will finish all her food everyday then. It will however mean more work in the morning and I would have to juggle between cooking food for her while bathing her and getting her ready to go out. Hmm... God help me!
