And so after checking out the resources that I have, I decided to make ROTI PRATA! kekeke.. OK, I admit, the final product does not really taste like a roti prata, but it's a good mix of turkish bread & north indian pancake. =) And thus, I've decided to name it Kless-Ti-Ta (Kless' RoTi PraTa)
First up, of course I kneaded a dough from flour and salted warm water..
Just a small little dough incase it turned out horrible.
As I was making out the round shapes of my prata, it dawned upon me that I could make other shapes as well, since they are MY pratas. And so, I made star shaped ones just for the kick of it..
These are the first tries... and I tried them and found that they are crispy like biscuits and even taste like biscuits! And so, I decided I must make the dough thicker..
They tasted pretty good actually.. and Joey kinda likes them too. :) But they're fried food, so I didn't dare to let her eat too many..
And so, these are the final products after trial & error, and they do resemble out-of-shape roti pratas of some sorts. Haha.. They taste great with sugar! And I am thinking of dipping them in my canned curry tuna later too. =)
Ah.. I should cook more often. It makes me happy. =D
