What A Miracle!

The almost-impossible happened!

Joey fell asleep in my parents' car on our way home last night at about 7plus. I thought that's it. She would likely wake up at 11plus to play till maybe 1 or 2am. But she actually slept through it all the way until......  THIS MORNING 9.00AM!

I felt like Mother's Day came again lor!

Apart from feeding her while she was asleep at 11pm last night, and another feed again at 6am this morning when she cried for milk, she went back to sleep immediately after each feed. On my once-a-week off day, this is the best present my baby could possibly give me. Sleep in till 9am. Woo pee! =D

My good girl played a while, and ate some crackers & biscuits, and drank some milk and went back to sleep without any protest again at 11am! This is indeed a great miracle.

I wonder why Joey is so sleepy today. Maybe because it was an injury-prone day for her yesterday??

In the morning when we left for church, one of her fingers got accidentally clamped by the front gate. Just a small scratch but she did scream for a while.

Then yesterday afternoon I left her at my parents' place and went Queensway with my friends and when I went back, my mum told me that she accidentally slipped on a piece of paper on the floor and landed chin down on the tiled floors. Her lower teeth cut her upper lips and the upper teeth cut the lower lips. Poor girl, now she's got 2 blood-stained marks on her upper & lower lips. When she saw us yesterday, she immediately pointed to her lips and went booo hoooo.... but my mum said she only cried for a few seconds, even though it looked really painful. Today, it looks better, though the cuts are still pretty obvious.

Maybe because of that, she needed to recuperate today. Heee...

Later, I'll be bringing her shopping with me. My mission of the day is to go shopping for new clothes for her and bento tools for me! Will show you my loot tonight! =D
