Happy Birthday Gong Gong!

My dad's birthday was last Monday and we went to Crystal Jade to celebrate for him. I was thinking in my mind that since Joey loves the happy birthday song and she can even sing a rather comprehensible 'Happy Birthday To You..', my dad would surely be very happy to have her celebrate his birthday with him. Finally, all our training for Joey to sing the birthday song & blowing the candle off is going to pay off!

Much to our disappointment, Joey did not get all excited over singing the happy birthday song. Instead, she broke out in tears!!! Isaiah made a logical conclusion that we have always been training her to sing the birthday song without a real candle burning, and so when she sees a flame, she got scared and started to cry! Needless to say, the happy birthday song singing scene I envisioned did not come to pass.

Looks like I got to train her to blow out real candles so that she would be able to fully enjoy herself on her 2nd birthday.
