This is like her 2nd home because she spends 9 hours in this place everyday. She’s been there for 2 days now, and so far, she’s coping fine and better than my expectations actually.
Because of the new environment (new smell, new lighting, new feel), it’s expected that she’ll not be able to sleep as well. The caregivers also need time to know and get used to her style so that they can get her to fall asleep. So far, she’s been able to sleep better in the mornings, but she takes shorter naps throughout the rest of the day. While she’s awake and they let her sit in a chair somewhere, she whines because she’s not used to it. Hopefully, she’ll feel totally at ease in the office nursery soon!
This is the baby’s room in the office nursery. 6 cots in total.
Baby Jayne’s cot!
See, she gets impatient sitting in the rocking chair..
