Her Awareness Heightens

I almost cannot believe that Baby Jayne is approaching 8 months old! *gasp*

How did time pass by so quickly??

She is curious and interested in anything and everything around her. The moment she spots something of interest, she crawls speedily towards it, grab it and shove it into her mouth. Amazing precision we’re talking about here.

Of course, colour is a main attraction for her right now. Anything colorful or bright is a yes-yes for her. Mobile phones and laptops are top on her list of favorite items. They shine brightly and make lovely sounds – What’s not to like?

Things that can roll and move also interest her. Like these mathematical abacus here, the beads pivot and roll when she touches them. Makes nice sounds and fun to play.

Sometimes, she takes a long time to examine what she has in her hands. I really wonder what goes on in her tiny little brain now. Maybe strategizing which part to chew on first?

I’m also in the midst of training her leg power. Very soon, she should be able to stand up holding on to something. Her legs may not be very strong now, but it’s only a matter of time before she’ll be walking here and there.
