Have you ever wondered why kids are always thrilled when they get to sit on the shoulders of an adult?
I’ve examined the issue closely and come to the conclusion that kids are just plain sick of smelling the air at our thigh level and not able to enjoy the fresh air higher up. What my baby sees most of the time are the hairs on my legs (Pardon me.), which admittedly is not that fantastic a view.
That is why, when they get to sit on the shoulders of adults, they suddenly get a superb view of the surroundings and they get all happy and excited.
Doesn’t she look thrilled? =)
By the way, I am very, very pumped up because Asia Conference 2010 will kick off next week!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s been a nerve-wreaking and stressful preparation period for me, but I am just so glad that I can be a part of such a wonderful event. I’ve got a feeling I might not be able to blog everyday next week according to what I usually do, but I’ll try my best!
In the meantime, I wanna go find my giant so that I can climb up high and breathe in fresh air too. =D
