Joey typically likes most animals. Like all kids, she has a curiosity about them, but she’s also a little apprehensive about getting too near to them.
My Aunt who lives in JB has a puppy named Cookie at home – a super duper hyperactive one, and she scares Joey to the max. Every time we go to her house, Joey either stays put on the sofa with her legs tucked in, or she stays on the staircase because the puppy can’t climb stairs. Whenever she spots Cookie nearby, she gets all nervous and teary. All because Cookie was a little too excited when she met Joey for the first time. She kept jumping at her, and licking her. =P
This, is Cookie.
He is really quite harmless. He is just very hyperactive and super excited whenever there're guests in the house!

And this is Joey’s expression when complaining to me how naughty Cookie was. By naughty, she meant Cookie has been trying to lick her legs. =P
Last weekend, when we went to JB to the Aunt’s place again, there was a breakthrough! Joey seemed to be a lot less scared of Cookie, and even fed him biscuits! What a mega breakthrough!
Look, how unbelievable for a girl who burst into tears previously every time she sees Cookie! She’s come a long way!
I am so proud of my little girl, in conquering her fears! =D Bravo!
Baby Jayne, on the other hand, has shown great interest in Cookie, with absolutely no fear! She kept reaching out to touch Cookie’s fur, and even attempted to touch Cookie’s mouth and eyes! A little nerve-wreaking for me, I admit.
What a daring baby. Maybe she thought Cookie’s a soft toy. =P
