Last Saturday, Joey went out with her grandmother, so I thought of bringing Baby Jayne for her 1st cycling expedition at East Coast Park!
Failed in my attempt to get the Papa to take a 2-adult-1-baby seat bike with us, so I took a single bike with a baby seat behind.
All ready to go for her 1st cycling experience!
I was in a very relaxed mode. Took my camera in one hand & took photos along the way. Pretty happy with my cycling skill – I can cycle steadily with my baby seated behind and take pretty photos at the same time. Ha!
Many people were rollerblading & listening to ipods at the same time. :)
The beach may not be that clean, but definitely a lovely sight to behold.. especially with the waves beating at the shoreline..
Others were attempting to fly their kites. But I must say that the winds were not that fantastic here.. Old fields like those found at Woodlands are still better.
Baby Jayne was just enjoying the breeze and watching things go by. (At the beginning..)
Then after about 10 minutes of cycling, Baby Jayne started to get bored and irritated (maybe because she kept seeing Mummy’s back and nothing much else), and she started wailing and struggling to get out of the seat!!!! Come on, it was supposed to be a relaxing lovely bonding time for mummy & kid, but turned out to be a child abuse of some sort to the passer-bys. =.= Looks like cycling is really not her cup of tea.
I quickly ended the cycling, and we went for a stroll on the beach instead..
Don’t be too nervous about it. There’s no more coffee in it.. =P
I shall end this post abruptly with what we ate for dinner! Met up my parents at the East Coast Park Hongkong Cafe. =) Yummy!!!
Fried chicken wings with lots of garlic & chili!
Dumplings drenched in a special chili & dark sauce
A very yummy dish of chicken
Chee Cheong Fun, which my dad commented really has a very authentic Hong Kong taste and whoever has been to Hong Kong would surely be able to tell. When I asked him whether he’s been to Hong Kong before, he promptly replied, ‘No.’ Love my daddy to bits. :)
Curry fishball & chee cheong fun. This is a very common roadside delicacy in Hong Kong. I’ve been to Hong Kong twice before.
Fun day it was! =D
