Our Bali Vacation: Traveling To Ubud (The Volcano)

One of the highlights of our trip to Ubud has got to be the visit to see the volcanoes.

We drove about an hour uphill before we reached, but it was so worth it. The view was spectacular, and I absolutely loved the coolness! The winds were strong and I reckoned it could be about 20 degrees celsius or less. Super awesome.

We reached at lunchtime, so we sat at one of the restaurants with a paranomic view of the volcano and the Batuk Lake. There were many restaurants there, and all were built by the mountain perch to get the best views. The food was buffet style and expensive ($15/pax) and didn’t taste fantastic, but I guess we were paying for the views and the experience. =P I really didn’t mind, cos I was totally in awe of the beautiful view.

We had a leisure lunch while basking in the cool weather and beautiful view. It was almost magical.

After lunch, we took a stroll and took more photographs. I love how colourful this place was!
