Castles: The Best Are Those Made Of Sand

DadsforLife organised a sandcastle building event over the weekend at East Coast Park, and we brought the girls there to just join in the fun. The weather was nice and sunny, and it was a rather quiet and peaceful stretch of the beach. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves. It was nice. :)

The girls brought along their sandcastle building tools, and settled down immediately on the sand when we reached. I think our recent Bali trip sparked off their interest in sand play. Awesome.

The organiser was very kind to give every family a tub of sandcastle tools as door gifts. Fun and interesting moulds inside!

Sandcastle building is really one good activity for kids to do. Not only is it free, it is also a good way to stimulate the creativity of children, encouraging them to design and build something based on their imagination.

Check out our creation. Haha! It’s not exactly a sandcastle, but a sand city! =D

Thanks to DadsforLife, the kids and us had a great time on the beach, just spending quality together as a family. =) Our sand city even won the ‘Coolest Sandcastle’ prize! Haha..
