Fat Baby Genes

Many of my friends don’t believe me when I said that Baby Jayne used to be a really chubby baby. Yes, she’s very skinny right now (Much attributed to the fact that she eats like a bird, but runs and jumps all day long), but she did have her fair share of fat days, complete with double chin and Michelin thighs. Photos as proof:

See? Made my point. Every baby goes through their really chubby days. Some get out of it once they start walking, others never really got out of it, and they move on to become plump toddlers. Well, as kids, it’s still fine as long as they’re healthy and eating well. But my colleagues and I agree that overeating and overly chubby kids are big NO-NO!

The most important thing is still that the kids are eating nutritiously, getting all the nutrients and vitamins they need for growing up. And kids being kids, they’re usually able to shred the unwanted fats once they get active and moving around from place to place. That was what happened to both my kids. Now, they’re both ‘slim’ girls though I’d very much prefer that they both put on a little more weight.

Just so to jerk your memory, these are photos of Joey when she was a baby!

This is one of my most fav shots of all time, and it was taken on my phone!

Now both girls have shed their fats because they are both really active!!! =D I guess when they’re grown up, they’ll both be very glad that they’ve only got fat baby genes and not fat adult genes!
