Lory Loft has got to be the best attraction within the Bird Park. Kids literally go crazy running here and there feeding the birds, and the moment you step in, you’ll feel overwhelmed by the magnitude of the whole catchment area. At least that was how I felt. But it was a good kind of overwhelm-ment. =P
Inside the loft, birds fly freely. The birds chosen to live in this space are super blessed! They get to fly freely in a large space, and gets food all the time!
Feeds are on sale for $3 per portion. Extremely expensive for a really meagre portion of muddy water & feed combination.
But the girls loved it. They were scrambling from place to place to get the birds to feed!
The birds were all so colourful and totally not scared of strangers!
What a cutie! It tilted its head to look at me! =D
While Joey lost interest after a while, Baby Jayne insisted on feeding the birds till everything was finished up!
She enjoyed herself so much, she almost didn’t want to leave!
Finally we moved on! This section on Dino Descendants is pretty interesting. =)
Fossil digging!
We saw cute ostriches having a drink! =D
These big birds were so near us that we could get a very close-up look at them. Quite pretty, I say.
We were excited that we reached the waterfall!
I still remember the photo I took with my brother when we visited the bird park as kids! It was taken in front of the waterfall! =)
We spotted the beautiful waterfall!
Ending today’s post with the lovely waterfall. Check back tomorrow for the final episode on our Bird Park excursion. =)
