Feasting Continues On Day Two

On the second day of the Chinese New Year, we met my parents and drove over to JB again, this time round to visit another Auntie. The rest of the day was all about feasting, again.

Had a late breakfast at a dim sum place. The food was nice and really affordable - Something we really appreciate about Malaysia.

The girls (including me) were decked out in RED! Just the right colour for the season. :)

Chinese New Year or not, kopi-O is a must. Those served in traditional ceramic cups taste especially good.

Dim sum is always awesome in the mornings. :)

Drove 30 minutes to visit a sick elderly Aunt and spent an hour with her there. The neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful. I could hardly hear anything else apart from birds' chirping and wind blowing. Quite a serene feel actually.

Then we went for a late lunch at one of the hawker places we always frequent. It was drizzling, so the weather was nice and cool.

We always have coconuts and sugar cane juice when we go there. :)

Fare at a hawker place was no less grand than in restaurants. We ordered a 一品鍋 and there were abalone clams, mushrooms, cuttlefish, fish and sea cucumbers in it. Yums and sumptuous! =)

Beggar's Chicken is one of their specialty dishes as well - Very well-marinated chicken in herbal soup.

Ordered this cod fish for the kids and it costs only RM40! Really worth it. :)

Chinese New Year is all about feasting, isn't it? :)
