POLW Sentosa Reopens!

Port of the Lost Wonder at Sentosa was recently closed for upgrading works. If you are one of those waiting for the upgrading to be completed, you can plan a trip there this weekend because it has just reopened!

After the Sentosa Flowers media event, the kids stayed on in POLW and played to their heart's content. It was a really hot day, and nothing can be more refreshing than jumping right into cool waters. I was so envious, seriously!

Apart from the fun slides at the main water playground, the girls' next favourite at the POLW would be the foam pool. Bubbles and foam is a winning combination in a kid's world. When you pay for your entrance fee to POLW, you would be given curio coins like these (the currency of POLW) to pay for play time at the foam pool. :)

You can tell how excited the kids are when they see the foam pool - Their eyes grow big and wide, and they have this big grin across their faces. Everyone can't wait to jump into the pool.

Especially when the foam went shooting at the kids, everyone went hysterical! =D

Meals can be settled within POLW at the restaurant that serves mainly western food. Of course, don't expect the prices to be cheap, because this is after all a tourist spot. Food is pretty decent though.

I ordered Rosti with sausage - I love the rosti which was moist and crispy on the edges, but I didn't like the sausage. Would probably order just the rosti next time.

Papa Isaiah ordered their Nasi Bryani, which was quite nice.

I also ordered kids' meals for the two girls - There were the usual kids' meal choices such as spaghetti, hotdog bun, fish & chips etc.

The kids are always hungry after water play time. :)

While we were having our meals, we heard an announcement that we could exchange our curio coins for ice popsicles! So of course, we had to have one each - It was too good on such a hot day! =)
