Label Your Stuffs For The New School Year: Worldwide Giveaway!

Product Review

I love to label my stuffs, I really do. It makes them exclusively mine instantaneously. And especially for my kids’ things, this labeling business becomes an obsession and most of the time, a necessity. If you’ve been to public play areas, you’ll know what I mean. When there is a mass gathering of water bottles, shoes and pencil cases, finding your kids’ stuffs at the end of the playtime can be quite a challenge. You either need supersonic eyes or a very patient mind. Since I have neither, I opt to label my kids’ stuffs so that I can immediately notice them. I don’t even need to worry that there would be 5 other water bottles that look exactly the same as my kid’s.

When I got introduced to StickerKid, I thought it was just another brand of labels & stickers. There are frankly too much different suppliers in the market, and most of them are more or less the same in terms of quality and design. When I finally got hold of the labels, I was pleasantly surprised – The quality was impressive.

Stickerkid is a Swiss company headed by Doerthe and Christian, a couple in their 30s whose circle of friends and their children have taught them all about the difficulty of trying to keep track of a child's little belongings. The company was founded in 2004 and has printed millions of labels for more than 100.000 parents.

I received a value pack with assorted labels for my kids’ stuffs. Really timely, I must say, since the current school year is ending and we are going to purchase new books and stationeries for the new academic year. These new sticker labels will come in really handy.

The StickerKid online store is really easy to navigate. All you need to do is to select the type of labels you want, choose a colour and the font, and a basic icon and your orders are done. The labels come in different sizes  and length to match your different needs. If you follow the instructions provided along with your stickers, the labels are guaranteed to stay intact on your stuffs, even after repeated washes or ‘rough handling’ by the kids. Good quality really does make a difference. After all, nothing frustrates us more than labels that fall off after just a few days!

Let’s check out the labels we received and how we put them to good use. :)

These go best on the big items such as water bottles, pencil boxes, etc. Not only are they easy to spot, they also beautify the items.

These are really simple one-liner labels that can label small or narrow items, or simply items which you do not want the labels to ‘stand out’.

These labels were perfect for the kids’ cutlery. Even after frequent washes, the labels look good and virtually no signs of peeling off at all.

And of course, with such a versatile size, you can use them literally everywhere.

These stickers are cute, and are meant to fit in the shoes. You might be wondering why do we need to label shoes? These definitely comes in useful for Joey’s school shoes because whenever the class goes for music class, they would leave their shoes outside the music classroom. There was once Joey came home complaining that she almost wore her classmates’ shoes home because they were the same design, size and pattern. True story.

Because they are of such a cute shape, I also used them on the ring files. Really suitable, don’t you think?

Apart from the sticker labels, StickerKid also offers iron-on labels which can be used on clothes and other items made of cloth. I ironed the labels onto the kids’ uniform and even their caps. Works perfectly and yep, haven’t dropped off after several washes either. Still sticking on strong. :)
