I’ve been a blogger for close to 10 years now. Much as I enjoy taking photographs of my kids and the things we do week in and week out, there were days when I wished there were more photographs that had ME in them. So, it’s always been on my mind to go for a family photo shoot, to capture those faces of my kids when they are still little and of course, the husband and I when we are still relatively young.
All thanks to Cloud Productions, this little wish came to pass! At the end of a one-hour session at Botanic Gardens, we were sweaty, laughing and had 100+ photographs waiting for us. It was plenty of fun to NOT be the photographer this time round, and we had quite a lovely family time together that morning. I like it that Cloud Productions go for beautiful and natural shots, where the idea is to capture the family having fun together in a cheery and happy mood. Our photographer made us feel at ease as well, and was very accommodating whenever we want to stop at any spots to capture some shots. All in all, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.
When the photos reached me two weeks after the shoot, I was surprised. They way exceeded my expectations, I must say. There were some shots I didn’t envision would turn out that way, so it was good fun going through the photographs and seeing myself in them, especially. It was not easy choosing my favorite shots of the lot, but here are some of them. :)

Lots of sentiments when I saw some of these shots of us playing some random game. The kids will not be small for long, and before I know it, they will not want to play such games with us anymore. I really need to treasure and cherish every moment with them, while they are still this small.
Photo shoot is not easy at all, but after an hour of sweating and smiling until our faces got crammed, we were super pleased with our photographs.
