Review: Kid Hero Stories – Your Personalized E-books! (Review & Giveaway!)

Product Review

Kids have this ‘funny bone’ syndrome – They laugh whenever they see their own faces in the unexpected places. And once they start laughing, they find it so amusing that they can’t stop laughing. It’s really funny to watch them when they do that! So when Kid Hero Stories approached me with their proposal to make personalized ebooks for the girls, I thought, ‘Why not?’ – They are bound to find it really funny and entertaining.

Kid Hero Stories is a website started by a fellow mum who feels that since our society is constantly on the go, and gadgets are becoming such a vital part of our lives, we should embrace the technology instead of fighting it. She creates and delivers weekly customised stories for kids ranging from toddler to primary school, and the unique thing is the stars in the stories are YOUR kids. Don’t know what I mean? Just see some of the pages of the first story I received in my mailbox:

See what I mean now?? =D

The original stories are personalized with your kids’ names and their headshots! Imagine the kids’ delight when they read the ebooks. When I first saw them, I was very tickled myself. =P

There are different series of books to choose from, and the ebooks are sent to your mailbox every week if you subscribe to the service. The ebooks are best viewed on IPADs or laptops.

Jayne could not read independently yet, so I got Joey to read the stories to her, and it was nice to see them having fun reading stories about themselves together. I even captured their expressions on video!
