Safari Boo 2015

Media Invite

A few weeks ago, Joey came home from school and suddenly asked me, “Mum, are we going to Safari Boo this year? Can we go, please?” Apparently, she saw a publicity banner on Safari Boo 2015, and was reminded of how fun the event was last year when we went. So when River Safari very kindly invited us back for a preview of their signature Halloween event - Safari Boo 2015, we went for it!

To my kids, Halloween has never been a scary and frightening occasion. In fact, it symbolized candies, cute dress-ups and lots of fun. At Safari Boo, that’s exactly what they endeavor to do – They hope to create a merry (not scary) time for the little ones, while giving them lots of sweet treats along the way.

Look at our excited faces, while waiting to enter River Safari!

Oh yes, you read that right. Kids get to enter FOR FREE to the Safari Boo once the clock hits 6pm! Ahem, I don’t suggest you let your kids go in all by themselves, of course. Parents, get your tickets and bring your kids in for free la!

But just before we entered River Safari, we spotted Kai Kai & Jia Jia mascots! The girls ran over for a shot with them. Both girls have seen the pandas on their school excursions before. Daddy and Mummy have not even met them ourselves!

And the programme kick started with our mascots bringing us on a tour in River Safari. At Safari Boo, you can expect to walk through the River Safari and see all the animals in the night light (most interesting bit, I feel!), enjoy an entertaining performance on stage and collect candies and little toys from different characters and mascots specially dressed up for the occasion! Here’s a photographic walk-through of what you can expect at Safari Boo 2015. For the complete experience though, please get your tickets and go for it!

It was a night where the kids learnt new and interesting things about sea and river creatures, watch entertaining performances, meet colorful and friendly mascots and collect tons of candies and toys! It’s no wonder the kids insist that we need to go for Safari Boo every year. =P
