CulinaryOn: New Culinary Entertainment Centre In Singapore

Media Invite

CulinaryOn Singapore

A few weeks back, we were invited to CulinaryOn – a new culinary entertainment centre in Singapore, where you can sign up for cooking lessons either individually or as a group. I enjoy cooking personally, even though I’m not a fabulous cook. Cooking to me is always therapeutic, and a great bonding activity with friends or family. This concept of culinary entertainment is not new in Singapore, but I was instantly lifted up by the colors and lighting when I stepped into CulinaryOn, located at Raffles Place. It looks like my dream kitchen! Haha!
All 4 of us were issued aprons and we went around exploring the place. It’s spacious, beautifully furnished and of course, equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious dishes.
Couldn’t resist posing with these oversized spatula and scoops, of course. They were way too cute!

CulinaryOn has several kitchens to facilitate the running of different events and classes.

Of course, we were not there just to tour the place, but to cook up a storm! It was a really fun experience because the kids would be cooking in separate kitchens as the parents. Jayne decided to follow me though, and she helped out in small little things here and there. Fun for everyone!
The chefs demonstrated and led everyone step by step in preparing the ingredients and cook the dishes. We were scheduled to cook a pasta from scratch and molten chocolate cakes that day. Sounded like huge tasks!

Over at the kids’ side, they were having lots of fun following the chefs as well!

At the parents’ side, Papa Isaiah tried his hand at cooking (Yes, he doesn’t cook at all. Not even instant noodles Smile with tongue out)

Seriously, cooking is A LOT easier when a chef gives out instructions. Haha!

The most fun part for the kids could be the kneading of the dough for the pasta. Everyone was laughing and at one point, pretty chaotic because everyone’s throwing flour at everyone! LOL!

The rainbow pasta done by the kids!
They can’t wait to taste their pasta!
Looks good!!! I had a taste, and loved how fresh it tasted. Homemade is still the best. :)

On the parents’ side, the chef started demonstrating the cooking process, and got some of the parents to try as well.

Looks and tastes delish!!!
It was SO GOOD I slurped up everything and asked for a second helping. Smile with tongue out
Then it was time to make our own ice-cream, to top the molten chocolate cakes being baked in the oven!
In order to get ice-cream instantly, we used liquid nitrogen! It got all the kids SUPER EXCITED!

Is this amazing or what?
Thank you CulinaryOn for such a fun afternoon, cooking, feasting and laughing. I’d love to be back again to learn some other dishes! If you are interested in their classes as well, check out their schedule – Perhaps there are classes you’d be interested in! http://culinaryon.sg/calendar/ Otherwise, if you are planning corporate events or team-building activities for a group of friends, contact them to find out more too. In my opinion, it’s a super duper fun activity to do in a group!
