Because Joey has started to crawl and climb every surface that's above ground, we really got to keep a tight eye on her whenever we are not carrying her and just letting her move around freely. This is really tiring, trust me, cos I got to keep carrying her off something and back onto the floor, for fear that her hands might just slip and she will slam her face onto the floor.
The best way to get some rest without having to watch her is to put her into her playpen. No, we didn't buy a new playpen. This is just the wooden cot that we have been letting her sleep in when she was a one-month-old. The cot is multi-function. We just need to lower the mattress platform and it becomes a playpen for her. She can't climb out yet, and when we put lots of different soft toys inside, she can be entertained for quite a while. :)
