This One’s Worth Celebrating!

Please allow me to indulge in myself for just a little while.

YEH YEH YEH! I BOUGHT A NEW CAMERA!

I know it's hard to imagine my excitement over my new digital camera, and you might even entertain thoughts that Klessis is a siao ding dong. But this is really making me very excited cos it's the first official camera that I can call MY OWN. Officially so because when Isaiah and I got married, we did buy a new digital SLR for our honeymoon, but it was afterall OUR camera. This new toy is one I can call MY OWN. :)

I am sorry but this entry is all about flaunting my new camera. =)

I've got a budget, so I didn't have a lot of choices to choose from. I would love to get either a bright pink, red or sleek black camera, but none of those sorts fit into my budget of $400. In the end. I was rather pleased to get a silver one that I kinda like too. So, praise God! Here's my new gadget:

Casio Exilim EX-Z60

This is of course a pix that I downloaded from the web, if you have not already figured it out yourself (bodoh ah?!). I have yet to find the best way to take a photo of my camera using my camera. If you know how, you can share with me. =P

Call me a suah ku or a mountain turtle, but I frankly have not seen a camera that comes with so many pre-settings for different subject matter that you are shooting. For example, if you are taking photos of children, you can pre-set to 'Children'. If you are taking rushing water, you can pre-set to 'Rushing water'. And there's others like 'Trees', 'Pets', 'Scenery', 'Retro'... you get my point.

Here are some of the first few shots I took with my new camera!

This next one I took with the special effect 'Children', and it turned out ....

Don't ask me why the tone is like that when I use the 'Children' function. I have no idea.

This other one I used the 'Retro' function. Not bad eh?

And monochrome ones... hehe..

Wah.. I am such a happy girl now. +) This is of course taken with my new camera too.

Another vain thing I did was I went to buy a Crumpler camera pouch! keke

On our way home, I tested my camera again on snapping the scenery outside from a fast-moving cab. The outcome is quite artistic, I must say. And very green too. :)

My 2 most favorite persons on this earth. (And of course, I do not need to remind you that it's taken with my new camera. Hehe)

OK, I promise I will not mention my new camera again in future posts. I am sure you had an overdose of it here. Cheers!
