I know the brushing part looks very sharp & hard, but it's actually a kind of soft plastic. This is a practice toothbrush for babies to practise on before they move on to real toothbrushing. It's the action that they must master first. The green part is a preventive measure incase babies push the toothbrush too deep into the mouth & hurt themselves. By the time the baby hits 2 years old and can control it very well, the green part can be removed. Hee...
