Journey Back In Time

Went to some interesting places today.

First up, can you guess which posh hotel is this toilet in?

wahahaha! It's the public toilet at Golden Mile Food Centre! Gosh, if only all public toilets are as nice as this! =D

Was waiting to meet my dad, so we loitered to the Golden Mile Food Centre to have the famous Chin Chow dessert. Very refreshing indeed! But forgot to take any photos, cos it was just too delicious.

Took a walk around the neighbourhood nearby the Food Centre, and found that there were many 'old' elements in that place. I snapped as I walked, and didn't realise I took so many photos! The shops and the people all look very ancient. I felt like I walked back to the days when I was in Primary School!

The traditional barber shop with the red & blue stripped lights

Old & rusty bicycles parked or 'stacked' against each other

The all-time favourite provision shop that sells everything & anything

The homely-looking confectionary. The way they display their cakes & breads are really like 10 years ago. Nowadays, confectionaries hardly look like this anymore.

Don't ask me why they named their confectionary Sembawang. when they're obviously in Lavender.

Joey was very tired that she fell asleep on the bus. :)

Such a cute little darling

Digress a little.

Went to buy a can each of ANYTHING and WHATEVER the other day. I am quite impressed that they came up with such an interesting idea. It would be better if they have like 10-15 flavours instead of just 4. Haha.. then it'd be more excitement.

I can't really tell what flavour I got from ANYTHING. But it tastes remotely like Coke slightly diluted. For WHATEVER, I think it's peach or something. :)
