Yeh, Joey had a little accident at the lift this morning. Her finger got stuck at the lift door. Ouch!!!
Brought her downstairs to buy something today, and as we were getting out of the lift, she went back to touch the door lift and her finger so happened got stuck at the door. I quickly pulled her hand out and she started to cry very loudly!
Frantically, brought her to a nearby bench and wanted to examine her finger. My first thought was, "Better check if her finger is still there!" Thank God it was still intact. Only a loose piece of skin was hanging on her finger, revealing a little pink flesh underneath. Gross. Quickly brought her back upstairs and washed her finger under the tap, and applied some anaesthetic cream. Thank God she only cried like for 10 seconds, and was quiet after that. We asked her where is the pain, and she kept showing her left palm. Haha.. By now, she's forgotten all about it. Phew! Daddies & Mummies, better hold your baby's hand when getting in and out of the lifts!
See, she's all fine now. =)
Recently, Joey has started to develop a liking for carrying things and moving them to another place. At home, she would attempt to lift chairs, biscuit tins, dustbins and carry them across the room to another place in the house and leave it there... In the nursery, she would carry large toys (those with four legs especially) and move them to another place.
A weird habit, eh?
