The Daily Morning Ritual

Every morning on our way to office in the car, our daily ritual would be to listen to radio channel J.O.E.Y.

I am sure you know what I mean. She's at the stage now where she has her opinions on every single thing happening around her, and she would jump at every opportunity to name everything she knows or comment on something she knows about. Chatter chatter chatter chatter...... non-stop..

I enjoy listening to her talk. Although admittedly, she can get a little too noisy sometimes, especially when I am still feeling sleepy. Most of the time, she's very funny and we see alot of ourselves in her.

Scarily, she has become a very, very singlish person. She uses generously words like 'laaaa...', 'lor...', 'meh..' in her sentences. Very generous. And I know it's not good at all. I got to find a way to correct her. Somehow.

When she's not talking and commenting, she'll be singing or doing some funny actions like the following. I merely asked her whether I can take some photos of her and she decided that this shall be the pose.

Oh man, my daughter is getting more and more adorable by each day! Haha... Of course, with 'greater wisdom' comes more cheekiness too, but I guess the fun part is more than those parts she made me angry and frustrated. =P And sometimes it's the cheekiness and naughtiness that made her so adorable and lovable. I can't have best of both worlds right?

p/s: I was at Borders the other day and I found this book on the shelf titled, 'Places to bring your kids to in Singapore', which got me super excited! I picked up the book and quickly glanced through, only to find that I've brought Joey to ALL the places listed in the book! ALL except this Gallop Stable in Pasir Ris which I've been meaning to bring her to, but always couldn't find the right time. Oh man, Singapore is really quite a boring place for kids eh?? But I guess kids have such short term memory that they don't mind going back to the same few places now and then. =P
