I am pleasantly surprised at how child-friendly the newly revamped Sembawang Shopping Centre has become.
Went there for dinner yesterday and realised that they have rebuilt the whole shopping centre into one that targets parents and kids. A very wise move indeed!
There are shops in the shopping centre just for kids to do arts & crafts, indoor inflatable structures, learning centres… And even though it’s a neighborhood shopping centre, they invested in a rooftop water playground!
Didn’t bring any change of clothes for Joey, so she could only play at the dry playground…
And….. AHEM, please pardon me, I took these photos in the toilet cubicle when I was…… ermm, but the point is … So child & mother friendly! =D
Now baby can wait in the seat while mummy finishes what she needs to do (and not worry about a naughty toddler who will try to open the toilet door before mummy puts on her pants =P)
Joey likes the place, it seems..
Now, I don’t have to bring her all the way to town to play in some water playground! :)
we like going there pretty early and getting an outside place at Ashtion's. The adults order our dinner while the kids play til they're hungry and tired then they come in and order their dinner... its fun for everyone. :)
