I heard about the newest kids’ gym that has arrived in Singapore and decided to bring Joey there yesterday! Polliwogs is the latest kids’ gym in town at East Coast Park, and it only started operations in end May 2009, so it’s really fresh from the oven! It’s located conveniently just behind Waraku restaurant.
The moment we reached Polliwogs, the whole atmosphere spelt FUN! because we could see the big pirate ship which is in their outdoor play area.
Joey wearing her socks & getting ready for some fun time!
What I really like about this gym is that they have a rather nice resting area for parents and kids who are taking a break from the playtime. There’s also free internet access and magazines for browsing.
Check out the designer mini sofas for the kids. :)
Coffee & tea for the parents is on them as well. :)
Entrance of the play area..
(yep, that’s joey in the barrel.. =P)
The interior of the gym.. There’s 3 storeys of play gym (and I nearly died chasing after my girl).
The play area was very clean and nice. Maybe because it is so very new. :)
Don’t you just love the vibrant rainbow colours in this place?
One of the interesting things about this gym is that there’re ‘guns’ installed at various points of the gym to let the kids have ball fights. There’re lots of red cotton balls everywhere, and kids can collect them using buckets, put the balls into their guns and simply shoot at each other!
There’s also an ‘explosion cannon’ on level 1 of the gym, and when the kids pour in their buckets of balls, it would explode and rain down cotton balls on the kids. Drives them crazy! haha..
And of course, there’s the all-time favorite ball pool. There are 2 different ball pools in the gym.
Indulgence. :)
This is the outdoor bouncy castle.. Joey didn’t play on it because the weather was very hot. Anyway, there’re additional charges for playing at the outdoor area.
Enjoying a snack after the play time. :)
