Enjoying Life

Joey and Jayne are lazing around in their Nai Nai’s bedroom.

Jie Jie Joey was reading her little books and watching cartoons at the same time. Mei Mei Jayne was just intrigued by the bright lights & chirpy tunes of the TV.

This box of little books that Joey got as a birthday present when she was 2 years old are really useful. They are little books on numbers and colors and shapes etc. From not knowing any of those stuffs, she can now read off the books easily. =)

By the way, I got to show you her bed again. When we first bought the bed from Ikea, it was a nice pure white bed. Now, it’s just VERY JOEY.

Kids just love to customize their things by pasting stickers on them right?! You should see her wardrobe too if you happen to come to my house one day. Definitely not my style. It takes super a lot of self control to stop myself from tearing everything off, trust me.

By the way, Baby Jayne turns 4 MONTHS tomorrow!

I’ve been checking back my old blog entries to the time when Joey was 3-4 months old, and it’s really interesting to see how different my 2 kids are. Joey was faster in her motor skills. At 4 months, she could already sit very steadily in her Bumbo chair, play with the toy keyboard and grab a toy tightly. Baby Jayne, on the other hand, has made no attempt to grab a toy yet (though she grabs my hair super tightly!), and her neck still wobbles a little when she’s sitting in the Bumbo chair. I’m guessing it’s because Baby Jayne sleeps facing up half the time, and so her neck is not as strong as her Jie Jie who spent her entire infancy stage sleeping face down. =) But I’m not concerned at all, cos every kid has her own timing. There’s nothing we can do to force anything to happen against its right time.

In another 2 months’ time, Baby Jayne can start semi solids! How time flies!!! =D
