I realized I take very few photos together with Baby Jayne.
In most of her photos, she is alone in the photo. It’s justifiable since most of the time, I take photos because I find her incredibly cute and couldn’t resist whipping out my camera. Snapping photos of her just gives me immense satisfaction - ‘How on earth did I produce such a cute-looking thing?’ (Ya, I know.)
And so today, I attempted to take some photos together with her. Not as easy as I thought because she’s beginning to weigh quite substantially now and holding her on one arm for an extended period of time is no longer a piece of cake.
Applause me on my multi-tasking talent? Hold baby with one arm, press the camera shoot button with another hand, and smile nicely at the same time.
Remember this rocking chair? She no longer naps in it, but it has remained as her favorite entertainment chair of all times. Why wouldn’t she like it? It gently rocks, plays nice music and comes with cute little bears dangling in front of her. I wouldn’t want to get out if I were her.
You know, I sometimes wonder what runs through her mind when she stares at those dangling things. What is so enticing about those things? She can actually stare at them and smile silly to herself. Sometimes she even gets so excited that she starts talking to them in some unknown alienic language. Very weird what babies do.
