You won’t believe what is the most common comment I hear about Baby Jayne. Apart from the fact that she looks a lot like her Jie Jie Joey, the most common comment is:
“WAH! HER HAIR STANDS UP EXACTLY LIKE JOEY HOR?
It’s pretty amusing to me, because I thought most people will remember Joey for her cuteness, cheerfulness, korean-like eyes, etc etc. But everyone apparently remembers her for her stand-up hair?! Looks like it created quite a deep impression at that time. =P
Don’t even attempt to ask me why their hair stand up like that. It’s as if there’s an invisible cloud of gravity hovering above their heads sucking the hair upwards.
Need me to refresh your memory? This is Baby Joey when she was 3 months old:
And this is Baby Jayne now.
Although Baby Jayne has lesser hair than Joey (she’s bald above her forehead area!), we can still see the rest of the hair standing high up. No matter what we do, it doesn’t come down. I’m serious.
Based on past experience as with Baby Joey, the hair will automatically come down by 5th or 6th month. So it’s really nothing to worry about.
In the meantime, when everyone sees Baby Jayne, they continue to be reminded of how Baby Joey looked when she was a baby. And I’m totally cool with that. :)
