My daily morning schedule now, ever since I went back to work, is like this:
- 6.30am – Alarm clock rings. I wake up & bathe.
- 645am – Wake Baby Jayne up for her milk.
- 7am – Bathe Baby Jayne & dress her.
- 7.15am – Do my make-up & dress myself.
- 7.30am – Leave the house
(My mum-in-law helps to prepare Joey in time to leave the house, so I just need to prepare Jayne)
We got to leave the house at 7.30am every morning so that we can reach Joey’s school by 8.10am and Papa Isaiah can report for work on time at 8.30am. Because he drops off Baby Jayne & me at my office first, I always reach office very early in the morning. By 8.30am, I would be sitting outside office with my coffee, waiting for one of the key-holders to reach office to open the door for us.
These were taken this morning when Baby Jayne was resting on my lap outside the office. :)
She’s so cute.. When I whip out my camera, she just stares and stares and stares…
Her signature ‘astonished’ look.
Baby Jayne is now 15 weeks old, and her new hobby is to attempt to eat her whole fist. I suspect if she tries hard enough, she might just succeed one of these days, no joke. This also means that when her fists are strong enough to grab things, she will start to put whatever she can grab into her mouth. By then, I’ll have to be a paranoid mum and sterilize everything around her…
It’s an irony: While I hope Baby Jayne can grow up quickly, be able to walk and play with her Jie Jie, I also wish she can stay at the infant stage forever. Infants are just so adorable!!!! I especially love the way they wave their arms & kick their legs all the time! It’s like they can’t keep still at all. :)
