Baby Jayne is going through a period in her infanthood now, what is generally known as the toughest time for an infant – TEETHING.
Although I remember nothing about my own teething experience, but just imagine a hard ivory-type object edging its way out from a soft tissue known as the gum. I can totally understand how itchy, painful and uncomfortable it is all at the same time.
And so, Baby Jayne has been drooling like there’s no tomorrow and chewing on anything she gets her hands on. I decided that I might as well decide what she gets on her hands. You know, anything is better than dirt. Although what I give her gets covered in dirt anyway in under 3 minutes.
Let her show you her personal chewing stick – THE PINKIE POLKA DOTTIE PIGLET. (for lack of a better name obviously)
It’s basically a hideous-looking piglet with no arms or legs, only the head and a pink polka dotted stick-like body.
What she does is to stick it into her mouth and chew on it. Simple. No instruction manual needed.
Don’t expect a lot of smiling photos in this post because typically one can’t chew & smile at the same time. Errr right? Oh well, you can, but you’ll just look idiotic. And there’s no way my kids are going to look idiotic.
And just in case you are interested to know (only just in case), when you squeeze the stick, it actually lets out a shriek. Very cool. And serves a dual function when her fingers are strong enough to squeeze it. Cost-effective: 1 price, 2 uses.
You want to chew on it too? GO GET YOUR OWN.
And finally! THE FLIPPING VIDEO!
The THE PINKIE POLKA DOTTIE PIGLET is so cute!!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get it from?
Bought it from Carrefore, under the kids' section. There're different animals too! =D
