It has become a yearly affair and an annual tradition to trudge down the streets of Orchard Road during the Christmas season.
Orchard Road is especially lovely this year, I feel! The generous splash of colors and clever usage of lightings made the whole place burst forth with the Christmas mood. I feel happy just walking on the roads!
This year, there are many large figurines on display along Orchard Road, and Joey chose those she likes and made me take photographs of her! She behaved like a tourist!
Can hardly blame her for her zest… Everything was so cute and colorful!
Orchard Road is just full of activities, and I love it! There were lots and lots of people walking around, many of them admiring the Christmas lightings like us, people with big and small shopping bags, and there were street performers as well. The energy level of Orchard Road was at an all-time high!
Haha.. Love this mega-sized Bueno advert!
The old man in his clogs and instruments. I think he’s been doing this all his life. I’ve watched him since my Secondary School days!
Joey watches on with dumbfounded-ness as the 2 performers ‘folded’ their leg on top of their heads. =P
Simple decorations but so elegant and nice. :)
These are the figurines I was talking about earlier on. There are lots of them in different poses and costumes along the Orchard Road.
This is Joey’s favorite. In her own words, ‘I like her red high heel shoes.’
*roll eyes*
We walked all the way from Centrepoint to Tanglin Mall just to catch the snow show! There were heaps of people waiting for the snow show to start!
The kids first got started on the fun in the mini foam party. SO MANY kids came dressed in raincoats, swimsuits and ponchos!
How about my Joey?
Dare not touch the foam, insisted on standing at least 1 metre away from the foam crowd and screamed & complained loudly when a foam-covered kid walked past her and brushed against her arm with foam.
A successful photo in the snow only because Daddy was carrying her and her shoes would not be dirtied by the foam. Sigh.
