Babies basically go through a very boring infant stage from birth to 6 months thereabout. That is because during this time, their motor skills are not well developed yet – they can’t flip well, can’t grab and hold on to objects, can’t sit and basically can’t do anything much other than lying down and staring at the ceiling. I happen to think that’s why they sleep so much. There’s really nothing else to do.
After the 6-month mark, though, life takes a turn for the better. The view sitting up is much better than that you see lying down.
Jayne can finally play on the colorful spongy play mat in the church nursery. She can’t crawl yet, but hopefully the tunnel will induce her to want to start crawling soon. =P Then again, once she starts crawling, I’m going to get real busy!
And this multi-functional play station! I’ve always wanted to put Jayne into it to play since the day she was born! Haha!
Don’t you wish we had such toys when we were kids? Haha! Every generation says the same things!
