Every year just gets better.
Last year, we did our countdown into the new year at a chalet in Pasir Ris. This year, we did it at a suite room in St Regis Hotel in Orchard! I’d say St Regis lives up to its reputation as the 1st & only 7-star hotel in Singapore. :)
Everywhere we go, we are greeted by polite and sharp-looking hotel staff. They are always holding the door for us with great smiles. The staff are well-maintained, wear meticulous makeup, sharp dressing and walks with confidence. Great customer service indeed!
Our suite comes with a welcome porch area, common living area, a bedroom and a bathroom.This is the view we can see from our room on the 8th floor. A long stretch of Orchard Road.

(By the way, if you haven’t noticed, Baby Jayne’s hair has been cut!!! Daddy still mourns over it till this day.)

Ooooh LOOK! That’s my very lovely new BB curve! heeheee…
The bathroom with a perfect bath tub and a flat screen TV. The bathroom is humongous. It comes with a bath tub, separate dressing-cum-closet room, a toilet area, double basin area and a shower area.
The lightings give the rooms a very cosy and homely feel.
And of course, the bed.
Can you believe that they even have a pillow menu…
… You can choose from a list of 15 pillows, what kinds you prefer to have in the room. *gasp*
Oh, and have I mentioned already? It’s free flow coffee & tea all day long. Just call the butler and he comes with our orders. Perfect.
Baby Jayne loves the floor so much.
But we couldn’t waste anytime at all - The hotel’s swimming pool is very enticing. And so, the girls were quickly changed into their swimsuits! It’s Baby Jayne’s very first swim! Woohoo!
It’s finally time for swimming!!!!!! And GUESS WHAT???
